Eighteen people in seventeen kayaks. Fog, sun, and little wind. An eagle, some jellyfish, and trees in the water. And of course lunch on a beach. A good way to spend a Sunday. This was how we spent the day yesterday...
This morning Hazen, Clyde, Tony, and I met at St. Philips. We paddled to Portugal Cove and then continued to Brocks Pond Falls. Some pics to share...
And then there were the jelly fish all along the shoreline from St Philips to the falls. In the words of my Grandfather when describing a lot of something he had seen, like birds or caplin... "there were millions of them... and perhaps thousands too..."
It was another spectacular day on the water with some very good paddling buddies.
